Kat’s passion for the hair industry began when she was working as a receptionist at Akada as she found that the enthusiasm and creativity of her team was contagious. She has advanced training from Paul Mitchell, Arrojo Studio NYC, Davines, Ion Academy NYC, and Akada. Her choice to further her career at Akada stems from the rigorous education, the positive team environment and support from Anjel to develop as a stylist.
Her strong communication skills and ability to determine unique styles for each client set her apart from other stylists. She helps clients to clearly understand her vision as she thoroughly explains her choices. She keeps her work fresh and creative by following style trends and continuously taking classes. She is always ready for suggestions for her clients to keep them excited about their hair.
Kat strives to give her clients a style they can accomplish at home on their own. She is excellent at teaching clients how to maintain and style their hair, making sure they feel confident, relaxed, and happy when they leave her chair.
