Preparing For Your Appointment

  • We LOVE inspiration photos

Photos are a great way to discuss all the things you like and dislike.

  • For color appointments, it is tremendously helpful to have a history of your color services, both performed in salon and at home.

  • On the day of your appointment please arrive with your hair how you normally wear it.
Whether we are doing cut or color, it helps us to see where you are and what you are currently doing with your hair.

  • Please make sure your hair is free of tangles and not matted. If we must spend the allotted time freeing your hair of tangling, we will have to reschedule the original hair service. There will also be a detangling charge.

  • Be considerate about what you wear to your appointment, bulky clothing is very difficult to work around. Wearing a shirt that fits against your skin and not up your neck is best. If this is not realistic, as you are coming from work and wear collared shirts, we have robes for you to change into if this is an issue or bring a shirt of your own to change into.

  • One of the most Important things to take into consideration is timing, please plan to spend the allotted amount of time for your service, as this will give you the best results. Feel free to ask our receptionist how long your appointment Is booked for. Additionally, please arrive on time, if you are too late, we will have to reschedule part or all of your services.

  • If you are not sure what would look best and be best for the well-being of your hair, we offer consultations as an appointment in itself, with our face-first consulting we can design a personalized look that is tailored to your features and qualities. Then from there we can schedule your services.

QUESTIONS TO CONSIDER FOR YOUR CONSULTATION ARE AS FOLLOWS:

1.      How much time daily do you want to spend on your hair?

2.      What is your ideal maintenance schedule for haircuts and color?

3.      Do you need to be able to pull your hair back?

4.      Discuss cost for maintenance and upkeep with your stylist, so we can help evaluate what will work best for you.

5.      Keep in mind colors these days are quite complex. It may take several appointments to get you exactly where you want to be depending on where you are currently.

Examples:

“What is too short?”

“What is too long?”

“What colors are out of the question?” and

“What daily maintenance is acceptable?”
