Mackenzie Myers
Mackenzie was born and raised in Gahanna, OH. She was always interested in every aspect of the beauty industry, and always jumped at the opportunity of shadowing at salons from a young age. Along with AKADA's in salon apprentice program she has trained in NYC with Ruth Roche and ARROJO academy, Sassoon Academy in Chicago, Joseph DiMaggio, Anna Pacitto, and Daniel Benoit. She is also well trained in Davines color and products.
Mackenzie chose to work at AKADA because of the advanced training and focus on continued education throughout each of the stylists careers. She also loved the more intimate vibe of the salon and the fact that owner was still involved and working behind the chair. Her listening and communication skills, attention to detail, and thorough knowledge of color set her apart from other stylists in the industry. For her, taking classes both in and out of the salon keep her inspired and creative, along with getting inspiration from other artists through social media platforms. Mackenzie's skills developed quickly and she is now a master level stylist.
Mackenzie always wants her clients to leave her chair feeling relaxed, confident and fulfilled with their entire service, from positive interactions to their amazing new hairstyle. Her clients are loyal because of her respect for their time, her consistency, warm personality, and considerable talent.
