Originally from Columbus, Cassie has loved experimenting with hair since she was young. Her love for the industry led her to The Aveda Institute of Columbus in 2015. After graduating she carefully surveyed the vast options in Columbus which eventually led her to Akada. Her choice to work at Akada was simple, she was drawn to the team’s ethos and atmosphere as well as their talent and creativity all cultivated by founder Anjel Mclaughlin. She completed the AKADA Advanced in-salon training program and has proven to be an exceptional natural talent. She has also trained with international artists Jon Reyman, Gino Chapman, Daniel Benoit and Michael Polsenelli.
Cassie is a well rounded stylist enjoying the wide range of possibilities that hairdressing offers. Always looking to excel and develop her skills she looks to her fellow talented stylists and social media for inspiration and current trends. She seeks to understand her clients’ needs, offer customized solutions, and deliver results that suit their lifestyle all while bringing out the best in their hair.
What sets her apart is her eye for updos and formal styling. She’s our go-to girl for weddings and special events! She also loves fashion forward cuts that have a lot of movement and texture like the modern shag or mullet.
