Class Subject/Focus: Drycutting and Wet Balayage
What did you take away from this class?
Dry cutting gives the hair tons of blended movement. It’s an awesome technique for texturizing hair while dry. Wet balayage gave me great inspiration for fast results that pack a big punch. In wet balayage you blend root colors with lightener for a seamless blend.
What are you excited to implement behind the chair?
Dry cutting gives a new way of looking at and accessing hair in its natural state to give a customized finish. We learned new scissor techniques for texturizing and adding movement. The balayage class gave me much more confidence in combining balayage techniques with root colors, as well as new ideas for creative toning options.
